Palma sits in a Mediterranean climate of long dry summers and mild winters. May and June bring warm days of 22 to 27 degrees with manageable crowds. July and August reach 30 to 34 degrees and noticeably fill both town and coast. September keeps the warmth but returns the quiet. Winter stays mild around 10 to 15 degrees and very calm.
- May to June Warm days around 22 to 27 degrees, clear air, cool courtyards. The calmest window for the old town and short walks.
- July to August 30 to 34 degrees, busy and full. Plan early hours and shaded middays if you come now.
- September to October Still 26 to 29 degrees in September, then milder. The sea is warm and the city unhurried again.
- November to April Mild at 10 to 17 degrees, often sunny, very quiet. A season for the kitchen, the stone and empty lanes.

Aperitif on the rooftop terrace
The house has a rooftop terrace looking over the old-town roofs to La Seu cathedral. A glass before dinner, as the light softens, is part of the daily rhythm here.

A drive into the Serra de Tramuntana
Just under an hour north the Tramuntana mountains begin, with villages such as Valldemossa and Deia and the coast road to Sa Calobra. A day with a driver leads to olive groves, stone villages and coves without a long transfer.

The Mercat de l'Olivar market
Palma's main market hall is a few minutes on foot from the house. We suggest a morning among the fish stalls, sobrasada and seasonal fruit, ideally before a late lunch.

The house kitchen
The hotel restaurant cooks Mallorcan and seasonal. A menu in the courtyard, then a few steps to bed, is one of the calmest ways to end an evening in Palma.
