Bateleur Camp sits at the foot of the Oloololo Escarpment on the western edge of the Maasai Mara — where andBeyond's private concession gives guests access to terrain that vehicles from the central reserve cannot reach. The camp has been substantially refurbished and carries a nostalgic safari aesthetic that is neither museum nor caricature.
Best season July to October: the Great Migration with wildebeest river crossings at the Mara. January to March: calving season, quieter, lower rates. Avoid April/May (long rains).
