We know this house personally. The villas are not identical — we recommend aligning on layout at booking: couples do best in one of the two-guest units with direct terrace sightlines; groups of four or more should consider Il Carrubo or L'Ulivo with separate sleeping areas. Harbour transfers from Naples or Capri should be arranged in advance.

- Mornings begin on the shaded pergola terrace looking out over turquoise water. Evenings lead down a wooden-railed pathway cut into volcanic rock to a private sea grotto that no public beach can reach.
- Private sea access via a dramatic rock stairway to a secluded cove, unreachable from any public beach.
- Naturally heated infinity pool fed by Ischia's own thermal springs — the island brought directly into the property.

Best time to travel April to June and September to October
Ischia is rewarding from April to October, and its thermal waters carry the island through the shoulder season. In the cooler months the sea is still fresh at 15 to 19C, but the hot springs at 28 to 40C make up for it. August is hot and fully booked; spring and early autumn bring garden bloom, quiet baths and gentler prices.
- April to May 15 to 22C and the thermal parks open. Still too cool for sea swimming, but the hot springs make the shoulder season appealing.
- June to August Warm 26 to 30C with a sea around 24C. High summer is hot and heavily booked, especially in Sant'Angelo and the coastal hotels.
- September to October Mild between 19 and 27C with the sea still 22 to 24C. Thermal operations continue; first houses begin to close from mid-October.

Descent to the private sea grotto
A wooden railing leads down over volcanic rock to a secluded cove that no public beach reaches. The access belongs to the villa guests alone. Early morning is the quietest time here.

A day in the thermally heated infinity pool
The infinity pool is fed naturally by Ischia's thermal springs and brings the island into the property. From the pergola terrace the view falls onto the turquoise sea. A day without changing place is easy to spend here.

Walk to Sant'Angelo for the aperitivo hour
In about 25 minutes on foot you reach the fishing village of Sant'Angelo, which has the island's best aperitivo hour. The path runs along the coast with a view of the sea. The return can be planned after dinner.
