Biberwier sits at around 1,000 metres in the Tyrolean Zugspitze region, framed by peaks above 2,000 metres. Winter is snow-sure and cold, often with clear, sunny days. Summer stays pleasant, rarely oppressive, usually around 20 to 25 °C with cool nights. Afternoon thunderstorms can build in high summer, so early outings are the calmer choice.
