Eagles Resort brings together two complementary houses — the service-led Eagles Palace and the more private Eagles Villas — on a peninsula framed by sea on three sides. We know this property personally and value it for combining genuine resort infrastructure with the privacy of a pool villa.
We recommend the Eagles Villas over the Palace for most guests — the Junior Pool Villas offer a markedly more private experience and represent the best value on the property. Ulrike Göbel visited most recently in spring.

Best time to travel May to June and September to October
Chalkidiki on the northern Greek coast lies more sheltered than the Cyclades; the Meltemi barely registers here and the sea often stays calm. May/June and September/October bring 22 to 28 degrees and relaxed beaches. July and August reach around 30 to 32 degrees with higher occupancy. The pine forests by the water give shade even in summer.
- May to June 22 to 27 degrees, calm sea, easy beaches. A good time for the boat trip along the Athos peninsula.
- July to August 30 to 32 degrees, higher occupancy, warm water. The quiet coves and pine shade offset the heat.
- September to October Warm sea, milder days, fewer guests. Fitting for long evenings by the water.
- November to April Cooler, quiet months with rainy spells. Many beach houses pause.
